If You Bought Arcadem Pro Before Feb 2008, or Anytime Through DigitalPoint

Users who purchased Arcadem Pro (or any other Agares Media product) through our store before February 2008 or who at anytime purchased the script directly from me at the DigitalPoint forums (username: jquindlen) are still eligible to receive upgrades up to and including Arcadem Pro 2.9 (latest release as of this writing is 2.705.)

In order to receive updates, it’s necessary that you’re entered in to the system. Once you’re in the new system, you’ll be able to download your programs at anytime, and automatically receive the latest updates. All you need to do to get into the new system is leave a comment below with the following information:

The PayPal address you used to pay for the script
A list of scripts you purchased from us
Your AgaresMedia.com username. If you do not have one, please register on that site first and then post your comment here, including your username. An AgaresMedia.com username is required.

I wonder, do you plan on doing something bit like vbulletin which integrating the ability for the script to check for a new version and ability to upgrade without having the owner to download and upload the script?

Something like what WP has, all owner need to do is to supply username, password on agares..something like that.

Initially version 2.62 released in January 2008 was going to have that feature. It was also half way implemented in 2.700. However, there were too many complications so the feature was disabled and will instead be in Arcadem Pro 3.0.
