This is quick guide designed to get your Arcadem Pro installation up and running as quick as possible. It’s recommend that once you complete this guide that you take the time to explore the rest of the documentation to become familiar with the entire system.

Quick Guide to Installation

1. You will need an empty MySQL database with a user & password assigned to it. If you do not know how to create one, consult your web host’s documentation or use Google. Here is a guide we found that is applicable for most hosts running cPanel. http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/php-mysql/mysql_database_user.htm
2. Next, you should upload the unzipped and upload your Arcadem Pro files to your web host.  Change the permissions of the following files and directories to 777:   /arcade/      /arcade/img/     /cache/     /temp/     /admin/temp/     /uploads/     /includes/db.php
3. Once the files are uploaded, point your browser to the /install/ directory
4. Follow the directions in the installation program
5. When the installer is done, upload your Game Packs to the /arcade/ folder.  Games files (swf, dcr) go into the /arcade/ folder itself, and any images go into /arcade/img/
